Great place for Vietnamese coffee variations plus unique mochi donuts. While I can’t tell you the difference between most coffee drinks, I do know I like the contrast between the bitterness of the Vietnamese coffee and the sweetness of condensed milk. Anything that is similar to this might be in my wheelhouse. We didn’t have a chance to try their banh mi this time. We were able to try their mochi donuts which we heard are made locally. I would describe them as having the consistency of butter mochi but the taste of whatever flavor they’re advertised.

I am a frequent Ca Phe customer! Although it is near my work, I would go across the river for this daily if I had to. The most humble and hospitable staff truly elevate the experience. The Earl Grey Matcha with OatMilk was my favorite seasonal drink by far. I cannot wait to see what they incorporate during their summer season! The Mochi Donuts are supplied from a local bakery, and I take one each chance I can get. But get there early, because by 11, they are sold out!!

This is my favorite bahn mi shop - it's something i crave all the time. Even though we live over 30 minutes away, we just keep coming back! Super duper consistent quality. Bread is crispy crumbly on the outside and soft on the inside, all the veggies are fresh, and the protein choices are soooo well seasoned. Just perfect, perfect, perfect for a normal price (10 for the tofu onion, which is pictured :) ) We've also had their donuts and lattes which are all delicious, and not too sweet! Highly recommend!

Best iced Vietnamese coffee I’ve had since my trip to Vietnam! Also enjoyed the strawberry matcha drink. Nice, bright, open space to meet up or get some work done. I love their entrepreneurial story and commitment to sourcing their coffee beans from Vietnam. Representation matters! Haven’t tried their food yet but I saw the banh mi sandwiches being prepped and they looked yummy. It’s located on the corner of MLK and Russell and a very welcome addition to NE Portland.

Serious good stuff coming out of this small coffee roaster/shop. Great coffee and espresso as well as delicious viet-inspired coffee drinks (like black sesame chai). The banh mi is also solid!

This is a cozy little Vietnamese cafe with specialty drinks (love the ube latte) and Banh mi sandwiches, which can be made meatless (teriyaki tofu) and vegan). No tea drinks offered, and coffee drinks are not available as decaffeinated.

Outstanding service and hard-working staff! I was at this location with my husband, our friend, and our baby when this review was supposedly written and let me be clear: Rheye T is absolutely not telling the truth. There were only two employees working, and they were non-stop hustling the entire time. No breaks, no distractions, no one playing with any children. The “loud child” they’re referring to was our baby, who isn’t even talking yet and was quietly being held by her dad, myself, or toddling in the corner. The staff remained professional and focused throughout our visit, and the service was excellent. If there was a wait time, it was because the place was packed! Please don’t let false reviews steer you away. This place is fantastic, and the workers deserve praise, not lies.
